There are so many decent web browsers available. On Windows, you have Mozilla Firefox, Opera and the many alternative IE-based browsers such as Avant and Maxthon. On the Mac you have Safari, Camino, Firefox, Opera and others. Which browser is the best for you? Do you start using a browser for a few weeks, and then try another or do you keep more than one browser in action and switch between?
The problem is that your web browsers each use a different system for storing their bookmarks. Every web site that you bookmark within Firefox, will be managed differently within Opera. Opera can import your Firefox bookmarks, but this is either a once-only facility or you’ll have to manually import and sort your bookmarks, when you make new additions.
SyncBookmarks is a tool that will automatically synchronise your bookmarks between your selected web browsers. This means you could predominately use Firefox for your web browsing, but then switch to Opera, in the knowledge that your Firefox bookmarks are available to both browsers. If you find a web site that insists on Internet Explorer, you can still use this browser, again using the bookmarks from your favourite web browser.
