Silicon Valley icon and Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak has taken the wraps off plans for his latest company which will design new consumer electronic wireless products.
The new venture - Wheels of Zeus, or wOz, a play on Wozniak's nickname - has received $6m in venture capital funding.

Wozniak said that the time is right to develop a new class of consumer electronics that uses advances in satellite tracking, wireless networks and more powerful computer chips.
In a statement Wozniak said: "wOz is designing new consumer electronics wireless products that will have universal appeal among consumers and corporations alike.
"Recent advances in global positioning software systems and antenna technology, coupled with the declining cost of processing power and two-way networking, make the possibilities for new devices and services really exciting."
Beyond general descriptions offered in the company's statement, further information is not available about exactly what type of products will be offered.
But confusion surrounded the company's new website. Additional information was said to be at www.woz.com, but users were redirected to Wozniak's personal site at www.woz.org, where no details about wOz were actually available.
Wozniak left Apple Computer in the early 1980s and his activities over the past decade have been mainly as a philanthropist backing art and science foundations as well as local Silicon Valley schools.
