Adobe has issued the first beta releases of three forthcoming Creative Suite applications.
Users can now download beta versions of Adobe's Dreamweaver web development tool, Soundbooth audio editing application and Fireworks prototype design tool.
The applications will be open to all users for a 48-hour trial period, after which the beta programme will be limited to users who have installed Adobe's Creative Suite 3 package. All three betas will be open to Mac and Windows users.
Among the new Dreamweaver features is a 'related files' toolbar and an improved editing system designed to ease XML and JavaScript coding.
Soundbooth features improved support for multiple tracks and a new feature to allow the previewing of MP3 compression settings before exporting a file.
"Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Soundbooth are the major applications we are unveiling as public betas before the next release of Creative Suite," said David Burkett, vice president of product management at Adobe's creative suite operation.
